So what is a Swing Bed? Well, it's not as the name would suggest. Our beds are not actually attached to the ceiling in order to soothingly sway our patients back and forth. However, our Swing Beds, like the setting above, do provide an extraordinary level of comfort.

The term, Swing Bed, refers to the use of hospital beds for skilled nursing care after a three day prior acute care stay. Our Swing Bed Program provides trusted, comfortable and professional care for patients who no longer need acute hospital care, but do need skilled nursing or therapy care to complete their recovery. Best of all, as a patient in our Swing Bed Program, you can rest, rehab and recover in your trusted local hospital close to family and friends. Ask your doctor if your recovery can be done at Pioneer Community Hospital of Aberdeen or call us at 662-369-2455 for referral information.
